Bill Gates meets with president-elect

The Microsoft billionaire's visit follows those of rapper, Kanye West, as well as Jim Brown and athlete, Ray Lewis.

Kanye West told an audience he did not vote but would have chosen Republican Donald Trump, sparking angry fans to boo the star and throw items on stage

Gates made the trip on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, to discuss issues relating to innovation in energy, health and education, and American leadership in foreign aid, TMZ reports.

His appearance follows the recent visits of the likes of Jim Brown, Ray Lewis and rapper, Kanye West.

West's patronage of Donald Trump has raised brows due to the president-elect's divisive comments against migrant communities, especially the black people.
