"Doctors are killing people in Nigeria", actor warns

The movie star encouraged his Instagram followers to chose a medical operation abroad over one performed in Nigeria.

He made this observation in a video after losing a friend named Tope, who he believed died based on the poor expertise of doctors who handled the procedure. The grieving movie star could not hold back tears as he lamented the sudden passing of the deceased who died at a young age.

The clip saw the actor berating the rate of unskilled personnel in the field of medicine. According to the actor, anyone with a high financial capacity should make a medical trip their preference so as to ensure they receive the best care.

Health care in Nigeria has consistently been in a state of mediocrity causing pain rather than relief to the citizens due to an alarming list of incompetent staff found in the system. That seems to be the point of view of Gold's sympathizers who took to his page to make their thoughts known.

Some of his fans blamed the event of a lack of commitment by the government who should be looking at ways to bolster the health system. It is feared that a persistent neglect can lead to more deaths.
