Desmond Elliott has announced he'll be going on a four-year acting break to focus on his new job as a lawmaker

 

Desmond Elliot has announced he'll be going on a temporary break from acting.

The popular Nollywood star who's now a politician revealed the shocking news during a recent interview with NET. He told the outlet he won't be appearing or releasing nay film in the next four years.

Explaining his decision to stay clear of his first love, the Elliot said he wants to take some time off to focus on his new job as a lawmaker.

“There is no acting in all I do now, it’s the job as a legislator and doing work to ensure that there is a better structure in the industry," he said
