Dencia is a Cameroonian pop star who is known for being controversial as well as her beauty product 'Whitenicious'.

Dencia whose real name is Reprudencia N. Sonkey spoke to Encomium Weekly in an interview on January 13, 2015 where she spoke proudly of her 'dark spot removal' cream Whitenicious.

Dencia who is based in the United States mentioned that sales of her Whitenicious products is doing very well, having sold over 200,000 in 2014, she also mentioned that the Nigerian market is very important to her business.

When asked about the criticism she faced about creating Whitenicious (which is a popular bleaching cream), Dencia said the creation of the product made her feel like a genius and is not bothered by the criticism. She said "It's horrible what dark spots can do to a person's dignity and self esteem, dark spots are for leopards not humans"

Dencia revealed during the interview that the success of Whitenicious encouraged her to launch 11 other products. She mentioned her latest product called a vibrating vagina washer, that she claims will make a lot of men and women happy.
