Country singer Craig Strickland has reportedly gone missing and his friend Chase Morland has been found dead after an eerie tweet foreshadowing their disappearance in Oklahoma on Saturday, December 26.

Country singer Craig Strickland has reportedly gone missing and his friend Chase Morland has been found dead after an eerie tweet foreshadowing their disappearance in Oklahoma on Saturday, December 26.

The 29-year-old singer was declared a missing person on Monday, Dec. 28, after his duck hunting boat was found capsized and here are five things

to know about the missing singer as the world awaits news on his whereabouts.

1.) Craig Is The Lead Singer Of Backroad Anthem

Backroad Anthem are an up-and-coming country band from Arkansas. Although their fan base is still growing, they hit the big time when they opened up for Lee Brice in November 2015.

2.) Craig Loves Hunting

As you probably know by now, Craig went missing while on a duck hunting trip in Oklahoma with his friend, Chase Morland, 22. However, Craig and Chase’s capsized boat was definitely not caused by their lack of hunting skills. One scroll through Craig’s Twitter account, especially the photos, shows that hunting was his absolute favorite hobby.

3.) He Is Married To A Former Miss Arkansas

Craig is one very lucky man because he is married to the gorgeous Helen Wisner. One read of his Twitter profile shows that he likes to joke he married “up,” and that’s because she’s a former Miss Arkansas USA.

4.) He’s A "Belieber"

Alright to be fair, there is not a lot of context in this one… but it still had to mentioned. The first line in Craig’s Twitter bio reveals he’s a “recently converted” Belieber, which is the name Justin Bieber's fans call themselves. Maybe it was Justin’s new album, Purpose, that turned Craig?

5.) His Dog Sam Is His Best Friend

Craig loves no one more than he loves his big dog, Sam. Well, okay, to be fair he probably loves his wife more — if not an equal amount. Sam was on the hunting trip with Craig and Chase, but thankfully was found alive and returned to the Strickland family as they await news on their missing boy.
