Ciara calls Future 'dishonest' on Twitter after the release of his 'Like I Never Left' documentary on July 13
After the release of Future's first installment of his “Like I Never Left” documentary on July 13 where the lyricist admitted he wanted to marry Ciara but wasn’t totally comfortable... Well, CiCi is on Twitter responding to her former 'future'.
Explaining what truly led to their split in December 2014, Future told famed journalist Elliot Wilson, that Ciara changed towards him and wanted to take a different path including having a hugely publicized wedding.
''I want to marry you, but I can’t have a big wedding on E! News,” the Atlanta producer confessed. ''I can’t have all these big media outlets cover my wedding. I’m not comfortable.''
He went on to say after his album, Honest, flopped, he fell bak on his then fiancee who was just coming out of a number one hit son, 'Body Party'. Future wanted them to do another hit but CiCi had other plans.
''We finished the album before she just dropped and she didn’t want us to be a part of it at first, and I’m like, ’Damn we just came off a number one and you go straight to Dr. Luke and start working with him. So me and Mike Will, we didn’t even get a chance to work on the album — the last album, even though we had a number one, coming off a number one. I thought that was a little weird.” and we’re still in a relationship, so it was like, sh-t kinda threw me off,'' the 31 year old said.
Ciara, who is now the new brand ambassador for TopShop and is dating NFL star Russell Wilson, took to Twitter Monday (July 13) to respond to Future’s comments
