Seyi Shay, Iyabo Ojo turn a year older today

Seyi Shay kicked off her solo singing career in Nigeria in 2011 while Iyabo Ojo began her acting career in 1998.

Today (Wednesday, December 21, 2016) is the birthday of Nigerian singer and songwriter Seyi Shay. She turns 31 years-old today.

Seyi Shay whose real name is Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua started off her singing career with British pop group From Above. The band was managed by Beyonce’s father Matthew Knowles.

After the group split in 2011, she moved back to Nigeria to start her solo career and released a song titled ‘Loving your way’.

The last five years has seen her release memorable songs including ‘Irawo’, ‘Crazy’ featuring Wizkid, ‘Murda’ featuring Patoranking and Shaydee and ‘ Right now’. 2015 saw the singer release her first debut album called “Seyi or Shay”.
