The movie star was born in Akwa Ibom, and claims that she has European dynasty. She went to Awa Nursery School and Command Primary School in Kaduna State. After her primary school she went to FGC College and Federal Government College in Jos and Ilorin. She got her BSc in Theatre Arts from the University of Calabar.
Etim started acting at the age of 18. She appeared on TV in the soap opera . She left the movie industry after graduation.
She came back in 2008 in the movie . She got married to Clifford Sule on February 14, 2013.

Today is also the birthday of Peggy Enoho Ovire. She was born 21 October, and hails from Delta State. Before acting, she was a model. In Delta State University, she won the Most Beautiful Girl on campus pageant in 2003. She was the third runner up at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 2005. She has acted in several movies, and is a rising star in Nollywood.
