Today is the birthday of R&B/Pop singer Niyola.

Niyola whose real names are Eniola Akinbo started music in 2000 after she became the second runner up at the Amen Starlet talent singing competition.

Her talent brought her to the attention of Nigerian rapper/producer eLDee In 2005, she signed a production deal with Freestyle’s imprint Make Sum Noise Entertainment.

After a brief hiatus, she signed to EME in 2012 and released the hit single ‘Toh Bad’ in 2013.
