DJ Cuppy started her deejaying career at the age of 16. Last year she was the resident DJ at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban. In the same year she released her first compilation .

Now an intern at Jay Z’s Roc Nation, DJ Cuppy went on her first tour, an eight African city tour.

Nigerian music veteran Baba Dee is also a year older today.

Baba Dee whose real name is Dare Fasasi is the older brother of Sound Sultan. Baba Dee scored his first hit in the late 90's. He released his first album in 1997.
