Patience Ozokwor is a popular Nigerian actress that turned 56 on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.

Widely referred to as Mama G, the 2014 AMAA Best Supporting Actress was born on March 25, 1958 and hails from Amaobo village, Ngwo, Enugu State, Nigeria.

She attended Abimbola Gibson Memorial School, Lagos after which she gained admission into Methodist Girls, Yaba but relocated to Enugu with her parents because of the civil war.

On returning to Enugu, Patience attended Girls Secondary School, Ngwo, after which she proceeded to the Teachers Training College in Afikpo from where she proceeded to IMT Enugu where she studied Fine and Applied Arts, specialising in Graphics.

She got into the world of acting through Chika Okpala aka Chief Zebrudaya after she starred in a TV commercial with the New Masquerade star.

Mama G was among the 100 Nigerians honoured by the President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan led administration to celebrate the amalgamation of the North and Southern protectorates in 1914.
