Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ruby Gyang are a year older

In 2008 he graduated from Benson Idahosa University with a degree in Mass Communications. After serving in Lagos he stayed back to pursue his acting ambitions.

Today is the birthday of Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu. He turns 32 years old today.

He was born in Benin City in Edo state. In 2008 he graduated from Benson Idahosa University with a degree in Mass Communications. After serving in Lagos he stayed back to pursue his acting ambitions.

The following year he got a leading role in an unreleased soap opera ''. Three years later he got his big break in the movie ‘’. His career has moved very fast since then.

In 2015, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Today is also the birthday of soul singer Ruby Gyang.

Ruby who hails from Benue state is recognized as one of the best female vocalists in Nigeria. Because of her voice, Senegalese music legend Youssou N'dour chose her to perform with him on stage.

She was signed to Loopy Records a few years ago, but is now with Chocolate City.
