Bonang who is rumoured to be in a relationship with South African rapper, AKA had this to say, "E! Africa was very very interesting. I mean they just launched in Africa a few weeks ago they called me a long time ago lets say last year July they said, "You know Bonang we want to work with you E! is coming to Africa and we need a female host sort of like a Juliana Rancic of Africa."

Its something I absolutely want to do so we continued the conversation.

I was the first African celebrity to have an E! Entertainment special dedicated to them.

It debuted on the 10th of September 2015 and after the success of that other opportunities came about. So I did the first ever E! Africa red carpet at the (SAFTAS)."

Speaking about their African brand, she said.

"They've entrusted me to kind of push the E! brand across the continent."
