Rapper denies involvement in the Lil Wayne shooting

Birdman has denying any involvement in Lil Wayne shooting despite police documents trying to pin the murder-for-hire case on him and Young Thug.

Sources close to Wayne and Birdman confirm to TMZ that police documents insinuated that Birdman got a phone call on April 26, shortly after the bus was shot up in Atlanta. The police claimed the call was placed between 2 phones registered to Birdman.

According to the site, the call came from someone in Wayne's camp who was understandably pissed, and anxious to tell Birdman what went down shortly before the shooting. From the phone record, the person also informed Birdman that undefinedhad been kicked out of a club for harassing Wayne.

Winfrey was eventually arrested and charged with the shooting. But sources say Birdman assured Wayne he was not involved in any way, and vowed to help figure out who was behind it.

The site also reports it's no surprise that the phones were registered to Birdman because they're company - Cash Money - phones and everyone using them.
