The talented back up singer has been keeping fans updated with her progress through her Instagram. Few days ago, she posted a selfie of herself at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center with tubes in her nose.

She wrote: "Hello all. I wasn't able to have the minimally invasive procedure that was originally planned, so it's been a really rough couple of days and I have quite a few more days to go before I'm discharged."

"I always knew I was "liked". I strive hard to be a likeable person and you each had your own way of letting me know that I was somewhat successful at that. But this... this here is far more LOVE than I could have ever imagined being cast towards me in the scariest, darkest hour of my life.'

She concluded:  "I see the light now... and am so humbled to know that you all have my back as I continue to push through it. Thank you! #BraveTheStorm #F**Cancer."
