US president denies ever calling Kanye West

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Mr. Obama denied calling the hip hop star whom he called a 'jackass' in 2010 after he interrupted Taylor Swift's speech at the MTV VMA.

Despite what Kanye West claimed in October 2014 that he got a call at home from Barack Obama, the US leader says that never happened.

Sources directly connected with Kanye told TMZ, that Obama had a breakfast in Beverly Hills last October and a bunch of celebs attended, including Kim Kardashian and Kanye. The Prez talked about using star power to get people to vote.

When it was over, Obama reportedly told Kim and Kanye he wanted to set up a call to continue the conversation. A few days later a member of the White House called to follow up.

The President confessed to Kimmel he doesn't even have Kanye's home number.

Kanye however disagreed with the President. In an interview with the paparazzi in Los Angeles this week, the rapper said

“I love Obama. He called and asked for... you know what... but don't try to pitch us together. Don't try to pitch us together,” he insisted to the photogs.
