Superstars meet for the 1st time in 6 years

In the absence of Brad Pitt, fans could still feel the tention in the air when noth stars showed up at the 20th Annual Critic's Choice Awards in Hollywood, Thursday night.

Brad Pitt wasn't around but fans and viewers worldwide could basically feel the tension in the air when his wife/actress Angelina Jolie, 39, appeared on the red carpet at the 20th Annual Critic's Choice Awards minutes after his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, 45.

For the very first time in 6 years both movie weights were in the same building, Thursday night at the Hollywood Palladium. But the Broadcast Film Critics Association made sure both were seated far apart from one another at the ceremony.

While Jolie sparkle in a shimmering silver dress for the cameras sans hubby, Brad, former 'Friends' star Aniston rocked a plunging neckline, red hot suit and then, brought her fiance, Justin Theroux to the event.

The only thing similar for both stars at the event was that two of them lost out in their nominated categories!
