Singer pays visit to Nigeria's Minister of Environment in New York [Photos]
The Senegalese singer made the visit today April 22nd, to discuss the Great Green wall project, a pan-African proposal set to battle desertification.

The Great Green wall project will reportedly push the “green” movement in the continent from west to east in order to put a stop to desertification.
This project is one out of many humanitarian projectsAkon has been involved with in recent times, as well as one out of a couple visits paid to government position holders in the country, all in furtherance of his work.
