Fan says legendary singer smoked weed when he recorded 'African Queen'

A fan of legendary Nigerian pop singer 2face Idibia has come out to say that the former Kennis Music singer smoked cannabis before recording his classic 'African Queen'.

The tweet was made on August 5, and it caught the attention of the iconic artiste. Fortunately, 2 Baba found the tweet funny and shared it on his Instagram today (August 12). "This guy just cracked me the hell up with this. I rest my case" wrote 2face in the caption.

'Africa Queen' is one of the biggest songs out of Africa within the last two decades. The song is from 2face's debut album .

2face Idibia known for his stimulating live performances pulled off another of its kind last weekend in Sapele, Delta on August 8 at the Trek Concert.

The concert which had stars such as Patoranking,  Cynthia Morgan, Runtown, Oritse Femi, Sound Sultan, Black Magic witnessed a crazy event mid-way into 2face's show. During the performance of his greatest hits, a lady who was moved by 2face's presence ran towards the stage, beat the venue security and got on stage.

The unidentified lady grabbed the pop icon from behind, pulled him close, stripped off her top and attempted to take 2face's clothes off. To make this more shocking, Annie Idibia, 2face's wife who was present to cheer her husband's performance looked dazed at the occurrence.
