Out-going VC rallies support for his successor

Bello said the incoming VC needs unalloyed supports of the University stakeholders to succeed.

Speaking during a valedictory press conference at the University's Senate Chambers on Tuesday, October 31, Bello urged his successor to put the institution first in his decisions.

The outgoing VC, therefore, implore the University Professors, Dean of Faculties, Heads of Departments and other stakeholders to the incoming 12th VC in order to have a successful administration.

He said, “I am convinced and can say, with all modesty that I will be leaving office with fond memories of  the University of Lagos as a better place in terms of teaching research and service to the community,”

Bello was appointed in November 2012 as the 11th Vice Chancellor of the University.
