The students of the Obafemi Awolowo University has tasked Nigerian president, Mohammadu Buhari to probe the Vice Chancellor of the University.

This message was passed through Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Nigeria’s minister of Information and Culture, during a recent visit to the institution to deliver a lecture titled ‘Nexus between corruption and underdevelopment of Nigeria’.
According to Punch, the students lamented the state of their school hostels and asked that the Federal Government look into the situation.

“It is not only at the national level that the government should concentrate its fight against corruption, it should come to universities and we welcome President Buhari’s war against corruption on OAU campus.”
Lai Mohammed, responded by assuring the students that their stories of woes will be passed along to the president.
