Wada to choose new KSU Vice Chancellor from 3-man list
A three-man list has been sent to the Governor of Kogi state, Idris Wada, as the search for the new Vice Chancellor of the Kogi State University (KSU) continues.
Addressing journalists on Sunday at the institution's Conference Centre, the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Professor Hassan Isah, the three man-list had already been forwarded to Wada, who is also the Visitor of the institution.
“The university management has forwarded the names of the three successful candidates to the visitor of the university and the governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada, to pick one and ratify his appointment as new Vice Chancellor,” he said.
He said the three-man list was arrived at after a screening exercise.
Isah said the 27 candidates who applied for the position were subjected to written and oral interviews, and were required to make a public presentation on how they would oversee the affairs of the state-owned institution.
