Lagos Deputy Governor advises teachers to use instructional media
Adebule said research had shown that using locally-made learning resources made learning easier and more interesting.
Speaking at the Grand Finale of the Lagos State Festival of Instructional materials on Tuesday, October 31, Adebule said the instructional materials are useful for modern teachings.
The Deputy Governor who was represented by Adesina Odeyemi, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, however, enjoined teachers to learn how to make the materials from available resource and apply them in their classroom.
Emphasising the importance of the materials, Adebule said research had shown that using locally-made learning resources made learning easier and more interesting.
The theme of the festival: Effective use of instructional materials in inclusive education: Making room for diverse learning needs” according to Adebule was designed to encourage creativity among teachers and students.
