According to reports, the unnamed suspect committed the crime in 2014 at Phase 2, Site 2, Kubwa, a satellite town in the Federal Capital Territory FCT).
38-yr-old church guard abducts, rapes 9-yr-old pupil
Police in Abuja have arrested a 38-year-old security guard who works with a church for sexually assaulting a 9-year-old primary school pupil.
He reportedly abducted the girl as she returned home from school, took her to an unknown location where he raped her.
The parents of the victim became worried when the girl failed to come home until the next day.
A source who spoke to Daily Trust said the parents visited the house of the pastor with whom the alleged rapist resides.

The pastor then informed the police who arrested him.
Student Pulse gathered that the victims was taken to the Kubwa General Hospital where doctors confirmed that she was abused.
