Vice Principal, 57, Caught Raping 12-Year-Old Pupil In His Office

A 57 year-old man, Mr. Taiwo Ajayi, is presently in police net after he was caught raping a 12-year-old pupil of his school.

Mr. Taiwo, Vice Principal at Saint Mary’s Girls Grammar School, Ikole Ekiti, was accused by the Ekiti State Police of committing the offence in his office.

Spokesperson on the police, Mr Victor Babayemi, in the statement said the crime was reported by a staff in the school who "became apprehensive when the student, after spending a considerable time in the VP’s office."

“The witness went near the door and discovered it was bolted from behind, she knocked and the movements, sounds and subsequent demeanor of both the suspect and the victim gave them away,” Babayemi said.

Though Ajayi denies the allegation, Police say he will soon be arraigned in court for defilement.

“With the evidence against him, he will soon be arraigned in court for defilement.”

It is reported that Ajayi was in the past involved in a similar case where the victim accused him of having sex with her but no formal report was made.
