The Bible, which is the Word of God, and the manual/blueprint of life calls us to focus on our lives, rather than judging others.

Sometimes, we feel that we can judge because we feel better than them.

Well, the Bible has some advice for all of us.

Here are 10 verses on why we have to stop feeling self righteous and judging people.

1. Romans 2: 1-3; "You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?

2. Romans 14: 4; Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand."

3. Romans 14: 10; "You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister ? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat."

4. Romans 14: 13; "Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister."

5. Luke 6:37; "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven."

6. Matthew 7: 1- 2; "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

7. John 7:24; "Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”

8. Romans 2:1-3; "Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. We know that the judgment of God rightly falls on those who practice such things. Do you suppose, O man—you who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself—that you will escape the judgment of God?"

9. John 8:7; "And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

10. John 3:17; "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
