It is unbelievable but this three-eyed calf is being worshipped as a god in India.

Daily Mirror reports that the animal is being hailed as a blessing by the Hindus after it was born with a third eye in the middle of its forehead two weeks ago.

The owner of the animal (obviously proud to be one) described the calf named Shiva as a miracle while many believe the calf is the reincarnation of three-eyed Hindu God and namesake Shiva.

Shiva’s home has become sort of a pilgrimage site  in Tamil Nadu, southern India as people have flocked in hundreds to catch a glimpse of the the 'deity' and pray to it.

‘Hindu children have been touching the cute animal on the head, believing it will bring good fortune’, Daily Mirror reports.

In Hinduism, Shiva is regarded is one of the primary gods and patron of yoga and arts.
