C.A.C prophet advises Buhari, Tinubu, APC leaders to work in harmony
Prophet Solomon Olukunmi Ajao, has advised Nigeria's president, Muhammadu Buhari, former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders of All Progressive Congress (APC) to work together in harmony in the interest of the nation
Daily Independent reports that he spoke with newsmen at the headquarters of his church in Lagos.
The cleric said, “I want to advise President Buhari, Tinubu and other leaders of APC to be focused on nation building rather than personal ego.
“This is the first time opposition will be elected to rule at the center therefore they should not allow the success they recorded at the last poll to overwhelm them. They should be careful in handling the booty of office otherwise selfish politicians will take the advantage of that and set the nation back to the trenches.”
Ajao, who is also noted for his accurate prediction said, “the APC should not short-change themselves because political crisis within the party will not augur well for its members and the nation. I could see former Lagos Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola resulticating a political party owing to differences between Tinubu and Buhari. If they are careful, that may not happen.
“The President has no time to waste. Let him hit the ground running by empowering the police, military and other security agencies to fight Boko Haram. He must live up to his words on anti-corruption crusade, creation of employment, health care, infrastructure and other things, if he really meant to reduce poverty in the land. “Every time, I see politicians misusing opportunities, I am not always happy. The APC government should learn from the mistakes of the past governments. There should be mutual respect for one another because one good turn deserves another.”
