The Aso Villa Chapel was built by the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a place where the President or the Vice President that is a Christian worships.
If the president or his deputy is a Christian, he automatically becomes the political head, with the President’s or Vice President’s chaplain as the spiritual head.
