Laoye who just released her sophomore album, ‘123 Project’ revealed to Pulse that God gave her inspiration for her award winning songs

Gospel singer, Nikki Laoye has revealed her inspiration behind her award winning songs.

In an interview with Pulse, Laoye who just released her sophomore album, ‘123 Project’ said her hit singles were inspired by God, from her very first single 'Never felt this way before' which she said came to her while playing the piano.

She told Pulse:"The truth is that my hit singles so far that talk about God, were never given to me. I never sat down to write them. For my very first single ever 'Never felt this way before', I remember the first album was already complete, we didn't need any other song. I play a little bit of the piano and that day I sat by the piano, playing away and suddenly, the song just came."
