'Alleged crucified priest is alive' Bishop Paul Hinder says
Following news reports that the Islamic terrorist group, ISIS, crucified Reverend Thomas Uzhunnalil on Good Friday, Bishop Paul Hinder says he is alive.
Hinder, Bishop in-charge of the Catholic Church in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Yemen have stated that there are no evidence of his death, so he has strong indications that Uzhunnalil is still alive.
Hinder added that though the Church has received numerous threats from ISIS to leave Yemen, but they have refused.
Cardinal Christoph Schonborn of Vienna broke the news of the death of Uzhunnalil on March 25, 2016. He said the reverend was crucified the same way Jesus was killed.
Also involved in the March 4 raid in Yemen, were 16 Christian Nuns and nurses of the Christian Missionary nursing home owned by Mother Theresa who were killed by the terrorist group.
On March 17, 2016, the Islamic sec, ISISreportedly released a statement saying the abducted priest would be killed the same way Jesus was killed on Good Friday.
Hinder added that all efforts to rescue the abducted priest is in place.
