Nun reveals gory details of recent ISIS slaughter in church
More details of the ISIS beheading, including the statements and identity of the knifemen, have been revealed.
This attack, which occurred during a morning mass, resulted in the slaughter of a 86-year-old priest, Jacques Hamel, and a critically injured nun, who is currently responding to treatment in the hospital.
Today, DailyMail has more on the incident, including the identity of the attackers, and an account from a nun, Sister Danielle.
According to the reverend sister, who managed to escape, the knifemen recorded the entire incident, while speaking Arabic.
"They told me "you Christians, you kill us". They forced him to his knees. He wanted to defend himself. And that's when the tragedy happened. They recorded themselves. They did a sort of sermon around the altar, in Arabic. It's a horror", she narrated.
The attack was carried out by two men, one has been identified as 19-year-old Adel Kermiche, while the second, is known to the French police.
Numerous reports claim the 19-year-old was a known terror threat, awaiting trial on terror charges, at the time of the attack.
Friends and family say that he went from a normal teenager, to someone else that quoted verses 'from the Koran', as responses.
"He said that one couldn't exercise one's religion peacefully in France. He spoke with words that were not his. He was bewitched", his mother said.
Kermiche, along with his fellow ISIS soldier, were shot dead by police marksmen, as soon as they emerged from the church.
This is the third major strike in France, within 18 months.
The second attack took place in Nice, less than two weeks ago, leaving 84, including 10 children, dead!
