To tackle the spread of the Ebola pandemic spiritually, special prayers are being offered by Muslims in Kano state in compliance with a directive from the State Council of Friday Mosques Imams.

The Chairman of the organisation, Falalu Dan’almajir, had had requested that the prayers be offered to seek God’s intervention to prevent the disease from spreading in the country.
The Chief Imam at the Al-Furquan Mosque in Kano also called for continuous prayers against the disease.
