Jesus is coming back this week

A new theory says the super blue blood moon is a sign of the apocalypse and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

This crazy theory is based on an incredibly rare super blue blood moon, expected to appear on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Christian conspiracy theorists say this is proof of Christ’s return, adding that spectacular lunar display will signal the apocalypse and the end of the world as we know it.

Biblical proof of Jesus’ return this week

According to Daily Star, this theory is also based on the Bible, passages from the books of Acts and Revelation to be exact.

The book of Revelations reads: “When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.

“The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.”

This is backed by Acts 2:20 which says: “The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.”

Scientific explanation for blue moon

Despite the Biblical explanations and claims, NASA has an explanation for the rare occurrence that has not been seen in 150 years.

According to the agency, the blue blood moon is as a result of the Moon coming close as it orbits the Earth.

A total lunar eclipse is also expected to occur at the same time. Sadly, these two occurrences will not be seen everywhere.

The NASA spokesman said: “Weather permitting, the US West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii will have a spectacular view of totality from start to finish.

“But, eclipse viewing will be more challenging in the Eastern time zones. The eclipse begins at 5.51 AM ET, as the Moon is about to set in the western sky, and the sky is getting lighter in the east.”

Other end time prophecies

In 2017, we saw a lot of failed doomsday predictions. In October, Christian researcher said the world would end on the 15th of that month.

This was followed by a different kind of end-time prophecy from 68-year-old Marshall Vian Summers, who said aliens are coming to “take control.”

Fun fact: There have 3,900 blood moons since the prophecy was made in the Book of Revelation.
