The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, John Onaiyekan has on Sunday prayed for peace and unity among Nigerians.

He also prayed for God to give Nigeria victory over insecurity, corruption and bitterness.
Vanguard also reports that the cleric prayed for wisdom for the incoming All Progressives Congress (APC) administration to govern the country with the fear of God.
Special prayers were offered for Jonathan and his family, the country, the Judiciary, the Church in Nigeria and Osinbajo.
Other dignitaries, who attended the service, were the Senate President, Sen. David Mark, some former state governors, Ministers and Chief Executives of government functionaries.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh led other Service Chiefs to the service.
Chief John Oyegun, the APC National Chairman led chieftains of the party to the service.
