General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, W.F. Kumuyi, has refused to comment on the alleged $9.3M arms deal involving the president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ayo Oritsejafor and the Federal Government.
According to Nigerian Tribune, Pastor Kumuyi told newsmen in Makurdi, Benue state capital that he will not comment on the issue because he didn't have enough information.
He said: “I will not comment on something I do not have the details. I leave that in the hands of capable persons who have the details.”
The general overseer who was in Makurdi for a three-day revival programme stated that Christians should go into politics but however advised that whatever profession Christians find themselves, they should strive to be good ambassadors of Christ.
He called for proper education on how people can co-exist peacefully and amicably to prevent incidences of crime.
Kumuyi urged people to humble themselves and seek the face of God so that he can heal their land and the nation in general, stating that those who act against the laws of the land should be left in the hands of the judiciary.
