Nigeria, lets have rethink

In less than 24 hours, Nigeria had "Suicide Hotlines" and "Nigeria Suicide Prevention Initiative".

Nigeria.

If most of the police hotlines are not accessible, is it now the suicide lines that will be accessible?

At the bream of an armed robbery attack, you call the  police and they arrive at the scene after the armed robbers have enjoyed themselves, what assurance so we have that the suicide prevention personnel’s wont arrive when another person has  just committed suicide?

The news about suicide is not a new thing in Nigeria. It has been overlooked long time ago.

Some Nigerian students have committed suicide even some ladies due to some issues and the news was just neglected like that.  The  news went viral and persons reacted as if its the first time they are hearing of the word "suicide".

Welcome to Nigeria.

Where a boy will steal a cup of garri or even N500 and he will be burnt to ashes but the public office holder that steals billions of Naira will be celebrated and left scot-free. He will ne celebrated for paying tithe with a stolen money. He will have the guts to sue EFCC for investigating him. Your guts suck!!.

The problem in Nigeria is not a spiritual problem. At all!

We are the problem.  And until we fix ourselves, we wont be able to fix this country. Untill we have a change of mind-set, we won't be able to change the mind of the country.

We neglect the little things that matter and later, they end up becoming matters arising.

You are a comptroller general and you don’t  want to wear your uniform. And you expect other generals to wear their uniform?

Excuse me, have you heard  of the word "Lead the change" and "Leadership by example"?

Do you think am here to look at your atiku white?

Nigeria, lets have rethink.
