If you’ve been looking for ways to get that long lasting natural feel with your makeup, look no further. Have you tried using ‘Translucent powders’?

They are colourless powders usually used to set you’re your makeup. When you apply your foundation, blush or concealer, you use it to keep your makeup in place for a good number of hours. They are colourless and are basically designed to match any skin tone as they do not have any pigmentation.

Don’t worry, they are invincible which means it will sink into your skin without creating any ashen/whitish appearance.

Here are three ways you can use the translucent powder

  1. To set your concealer : under eye makeup can be a little bit tricky because powder foundations can make it look cakey and tends to crease after a while. You may want to try setting your under eye concealer with a translucent powder because it’s lighter and will quickly absorb giving it a more natural look.

  2. As setting powder: After applying your makeup, you can set it with a bit of translucent powder using your powder brush and you’re good to go.

  3. To catch excess eyeshadow or fall out : if you one of those who prefer to apply your entire makeup before your eyeshadow, then you can add  a layer of powder underneath your eyes just before completing your eye makeup look. This way, you can easily brush off the excess powder away to get a neat and flawless look
