Toke Makinwa has been hit by Okafor's Law

Why is Toke Makinwa back with Maje Ayida? It has something to do with Okafor's Law.

Okafor's Law is not one of the many scientific laws you will find inside a Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Economics text book.

Okafor's Law has nothing to do with the sciences, but it has everything to do with life and sex. But hold on, what is Okafor's Law?

According to an anonymous sharp bad guy, Okafor's Law can be defined as "It states that once a Congo has been shined once (C 1 ) , it can always be shined (C ∞ ) provided it was shined properly ( P) the previous times.(emphasis on properly)."

Another definition states that Okafor's Law "If you have been involved with a girl for a period of time and did a good job in and out of the bedroom (mostly in..), the belief is that you can always go to the girl at any given time and sleep with her again no matter what situation arises."

Yesterday (December 6), media celebrity Toke Makinwa appeared for the first time with her 'estranged' hubby Maje Ayida in public since the story of her husband allegedly impregnating his mistress popped up on the web months ago. The couple appeared at two events last night, The Future Awards 2015, and Corporate Elite.

There have been mixed reactions to their re-union. Some are happy that Toke Makinwa is back with her hubby no matter his past indiscretions. Others are carrying pitchforks and placards, annoyed that she has gone back to a man that has 'infidelity' issues in the past.

In case you are wondering why Toke Makinwa would go back to her hubby after an ugly spill of 'supposed' eventsin the media, then you truly do not understand the potency of Okafor's Law.

Before marrying Maje Ayida, Toke Makinwa dated him for 12 years. 12 years is pretty long. That's six Nations Cup editions and three World Cups! That's a lifetime. No woman will stay with a man for 12 years if she isn't receiving something that most men can give in good quantity. And I am not talking about comfort and stability.

I think this is a good time to mention that Maje Ayida is a fitness instructor...so you know he is very fit (wink). After over a decade with a man, a woman is already used to a style of loving, and a pattern.

Ladies know it is not easy for a man who knows your nooks and crannies. It is no easy to get a man who can get you to cloud 9. Counting how many times Toke and Maje have reunited, it is safe to say that he is doing a good job where it really matters.

Let's not forget that Toke Makinwa broke up with Maje Ayida before he pulled the ultimate baby boy card and proposed. Body no be firewood, it is hard to find the heat that will warm your oven especially with this Harmattan. It's blowing dangerously. You can deny that it is no about sex, but let's not deceive ourselves, it's all about sex when you keep going to a man with a track record.

Their love story feels like a good girl who fell in love with a bad boy, and good girls love bad boys because they are bad. Who knows if Maje becomes a good guy he might bore Toke Makinwa. It has happened in many relationships.

I see nothing wrong with Toke Makinwa going back to Maje Ayida. The man is who he is, and Toke Makinwa loves him like that. And personally cheating is not a deal breaker. The wedding vow says "for better, for worse", and cheating, infidelity can be tagged under the worse category.

Okafor's Law is too real. There are millions of women who can't leave their partners because of it. Toke Makinwa is just one of them. She loves her man like that, simple as that. Even our Twitter feminists are victims of Okafor's Law, but they won't admit it. It is cooler to bash on Twitter, and beg for attention behind closed doors.

Love and relationships are complex things. There are no rules. To each his own. Toke Makinwa is hooked on Maje Ayida, and that's reality. The reality of life is bigger than feminism or any ideology. The reality here is Okafor's Law. See Pulse TV video below for the juice on their relationship.
