Rapper's mother, Afeni dies at 69
The Marin County Sheriff’s Department in California confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Afeni Shakur died late Monday night, May 2.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Department in California confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Shakur died late Monday night.
Afeni, opened the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation and the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia in 1997 and resided in the area.

A Tupac Shakur biopic, called "All Eyez On Me" was being filmed in Atlanta earlier this year. The cause of death is yet to be announced.
