Pop queen is back to business

After a traumatic breakdown of her marriage to former manager Tee Billz, Tiwa Savage is out and about.

After a social media hiatus Tiwa Savage returned to Instagram on May 9, 2016. “From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and everyone of you for your support and kind words this trying time. Without it, I do not know how I would have made it through. Most importantly, thank you for  your continued prayers for Tunji, Myself and Jamil. May God meet each and everyone of you in your time of need”  she wrote to her fans.

It’s been back to work for Tiwa Savage as her marriage to Tee Billz smashed on the rocks a few weeks ago. As a matter of fact,  a couple of days after she granted the interview, she had a performance in Lagos. A few days after that she was seen on the set of a music video.

On May 13, 2016 the singer and mother of one attended a business meeting with Forte Oil which signed her as an ambassador in 2014. From all indications it is most likely her endorsement deal was renewed. During this period Tiwa Savage’s social media presence got a boost after she reached a million followers on Facebook.

Two days after going to Forte Oil she took her son Jamil ‘Jam Jam’ Balogun to Davido’s daughter’s first birthday party. Tiwa Savage tweeted a picture of her with Jamil and Davido with Imade and wrote “Our babies Happy birthday Imade.”

A day after Tiwa Savage visited the man who started her music career in Nigeria at his office. She met Cecil Hammond of Flytime Entertainment and shared a photo of two of them on her Instagram with the caption “This pic means a lot to me, thank you @cecilhammond.”

As Tiwa Savage gets back to business and promoting her second album, her estranged husband Tee Billz has stayed off the radar. Since his suicide attempt Tee Billz has kept a low profile. The only news we have heard about him pertains to his drug test which turned out negative for cocaine and other drugs.

With Tiwa Savage’s explosive interview almost hitting 2 million views, the singer is moving beyond the drama and focusing on her career squarely.
