American actress released from prison 2 Days to Christmas

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been released from prison in early hours of today after serving close to one year in prison for bankruptcy fraud.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has been released from prison in early hours of today after serving close to one year in prison for bankruptcy fraud. She was met at the prison by her lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. who told People magazine, “She is free”. Her release means she can spend Christmas with her husband, Joe, and their four children.

43-years-old Teresa and her husband Joe pleaded guilty to tax fraud in 2014. While the Reality TV star was sentenced to 15 months in prison, Joe got 41 months sentence which he is expected to start his sentence by March 2016.

Teresa, who shot to fame on the hit Bravo show, Real Housewives of New Jersey, is excited to spend the end of the year holiday with her lovely family after 11 months away from them.

She is “beyond excited to finally see her family”. A source told People Magazine that “She can’t believe this day has finally come. She has waited for this day since the moment she set foot in there. She is so happy… the first thing she is going to do when she gets home is hug Joe and her girls so tight. She has missed them all so much while she was in prison. She is going to spend as much time with them as she can.”

The star is technically free from been confined in the prison, but she will still be under home confinement until February 5. Her lawyer has described the period as a period which will be spent on paying fines staying “out of trouble”. She spent her jail term in the Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, USA.

Teresa Guidice and husband Joe have four daughters together; Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana Guidice.
