Dear Psquare, we have moved on

The time has come for Peter and Paul Okoye (also Jude Okoye) to realize that Nigerians are no longer interested in their squabbles and have moved on.

Peter Okoye knew about the concert, and even made a promotional video with his brother Paul, stating his involvement in the show.

Last week on July 8, 2016 Peter Okoye decided to bore us with another round of brotherly love gone wrong. Peter Okoye of the Psquare duo threatened to sue his former manager and older brother, Jude Okoye for allegedly booking a solo performance for Paul Okoye, with the Psquare brand.

The soap opera does not stop here. In a twist of events it was revealed that Peter Okoye lied about the Congo show. A video surfaced on the Internet of Peter and Paul Okoye promoting the upcoming Congo show.

According to the promoters of the event, they claim he waited until they commenced the promotion on a large scale, before giving them outrageous conditions and then pulled out and went online to do a disclaimer.

Cry us a river. It's time the Okoye brothers know that we do not care about their drama anymore. After what they have put their fans through within the last two years they do not deserve any attention from the public. Most people are jaded when it comes to Psquare. Leaving maturity aside they have decided to wash their dirty laundry public thereby reducing their brand value. What will it take for the Okoye brothers to resolve things amicably and not behave like little kids?

Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye should know this. We, the public, have moved on. There are better celebrities to adore. There are better and more interesting celebrities to follow. Newer and better upcoming acts are raring to fill their shoes. As a matter of fact Psquare is quickly looking like a relic of the past. The group is legendary no doubt but in this day and age the kids are looking for younger acts.

Ideally this is the perfect time for Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye to hit the twilight of their career. They possibly still have two hit albums in them but with this in-fighting people are quickly losing interest in them. A lot of people are no linger emotionally invested in them.

That's because they are behaving like babies. There will always be disagreements but they never have to affect the brand and quality of music. Let's be factual the quality of Psquare's music since 2014 (when the bad blood started) has been low compare to their other works.

Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye have worked so hard to build a musical empire which is one of the biggest in Africa. Unfortunately with their silly behaviour they are in danger of losing it all.
