'The media shunned late singer' says Ruggedman

The singer who died on March 21, 2016 from a prolonged struggle with Typhoid and Pneumonia, was strongly eulogised by close friend and former associate, Ruggedman.
While speaking at Nomoreloss' tribute, the rapper revealed that the late music producer was shunned by the entertainment industry and the media.
According to him, "While we were hustling, while we where doing Nomoreloss Live i didn't see this many cameras here but i thank you all for today. Ese gan. Ile ise yin o ni jo na."
He further went on to say, "I am tired of singing tribute songs and am tired of coming for wake keepings."
The event which was anchored by comedian Omobaba had in attendance, Weird MC, Daddy Showkey, Alariwo of Africa, Gbenga Adeyinka, Jafextra, Charly Boy, Dede Mabiaku,OJB JeZreel, K Solo, MumaGee, J Martins, Tonny Bob Manuel, GT da Guitarman, Azadus, Owengee and Yinka Davies.
His funeral service is set to hold tomorrow, FridayApril 8, 2016 at the Foursquare Church, Norman Williams, Off Keffi Street, Ikoyi from 10am and the procession will move on to the Ikoyi Cemetery.
The veteran singer is survived by a wife, Phoenix (who is a presenter at Rhythm 93.7 FM) and a daughter, Mo.
