American rapper dances shoki in new video, tweets it

Missy Elliot has made a re-entry into the music scene and she's entering with something from Nigeria.

 

Rapper, singer, songwriter, Missy Elliot, has released a new single off her forthcoming album and its called 'Where They From' (WTF), featuring Pharell Williams.

Besides the fact that the song is getting attention because its great, its getting attention from Nigerians because of something else; Shoki.

There were doubts from people that what appeared to be shoki moves was probably just a coincidence. But on Sunday 15th of November, Missy tweeted a shoutout to the home of Shoki; Lagos, Nigeria:

Still, there are those who believe that the dance move was a coincidence that Missy decided to jump on. Whatever it is, Missy can be rest assured Nigerians are listening.
