"Kobe Bryant left two tickets for Lamar Odom to attend tonight's game vs the Miami Heat. Odom is expected to attend, according to sources," tweeted an ESPN reporter some time before the game began.
Odom attended the game dressed casually in a gray hoodie and camouflage. At his leggy 6-foot-10-inches height and huge frame, it wasn't long before fans at the game spotted him and flooded the Internet with tweets expressing delight and pleasant surprise at the sight of one of their former stars.
Lamar cheered for his old team as Julius Randle sank an overtime winner to defeat Miami Heat 102-100.
The 36-year-old athlete was spotted earlier in the week attending easter service with the Kardashians. Although he had never been photographed attending holiday church services with the family before, his attendance in the company of the Kardashians is quite understandable, given that Khloe and the rest of her famous family have been helping him on his road to recovery since he was hospitalized for an overdose in October.
In February, Lamar accompanied Khloe and her family to New York, during which they attended Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 fashion show, which marked Odom's first celebrity appearance since his health scare.
And while it was such a pleasure seeing him hale and hearty then, fans probably felt better seeing him step foot back in Staples again.
