Rapper becomes a father

The hiphop star reportedly rushed from New Jersey to Los Angeles to be with Kalysha and the newborn baby girl.

Fetty Wap and Masika Kalysha

Fetty Wap and reality TV star Masika Kalysha welcomed their baby daughter on Tuesday evening. Kalysha announced the news via Twitter. “She’s here,” she wrote. “I’ve never seen anything so perfect in my entire life. I’m so in love with you... Best day of my life."

It should be remembered that the rapper once denied the pregnancy at some point as he went on the Shade Room in January to deny the allegations, saying; "I wasn’t just no random dude in the club. You know what I’m saying? She knew I was gon’ be there," he said. "Congratulations to her and whoever is the [father]."

He now seems to have overcome very of his doubts as he is apparently excited at becoming a father. So much was his anticipation that he, according to TMZ, rushed from New Jersey to Los Angeles to be with Kalysha and his new daughter after the Love & Hip Hop star went into labor Tuesday afternoon.

The baby girl has now been named 'KBM' meaning Khari Barbie Maxwell. Given that Fetty's real name is Willie Maxwell II, it certainly looks like a potential paternity suit has been quelled before it even began.

It is a marked change for the Trap Queen hitmaker, who originally looked to deny responsibility for the pregnancy.
