In his Instagram post shared on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, Charles Oputa has attacked 2baba for ignoring the ‘Resume or Resign’ protest he was championing.

Recall that 2face, early this year, wanted to launch a protest against Buhari’s administration, but did not continue, because of ‘security challenges’. However, the eccentric TV host was seen at the staged rally.

Charly Boy in conjunction with the ‘Concerned Citizens activist group is the leader and founder of ‘Our Mumu Don Do’ campaign, a platform he set up to protest the leadership in Nigeria.

They had a successful peaceful protest in Lagos and later in Imo State before taking to Abuja where they were stoned. Charly Boy recently took the protest to Abuja to demand President Muhammad Buhari, who has been away from the country for over 100 days, either ‘Resume or Resign’.

Charly Boy is not the only prominent celebrity who has been at the protest. On Wednesday, August 9, 2017, Nollywood actor Jim Iyke attended.

The group was later attacked by hoodlums with stones after they protested at the popular Wuse market in Abuja on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

The attack was also confirmed by Deji Adeyanju, leader of the 'Concerned Nigerians' group who has also been taking part in the protest.
