Today is the birthday of Nollywood actor Mike Ezuruonye.

The married actor was a former banker before he started doing movies.

EME recording act Shaydee is also a birthday boy today.

Born Shadrach Adeboye in Kano, Shaydee began his singing career from the church choir at 15.

A graduate of Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Kwara, he went on to become a songwriter and producer for a while before going professional with his music in 2005.

He got signed to EME in 2012 and has released impressive singles such as 'Won Gbo Mi' featuring Wizkid, and 'High'.

Mbong Amata hit Nollywood with a bang when she made her movie debut in 2006 when she played the lead role in the major movie "Amazing Grace" directed by Jeta Amata.

Prior to acting, Mbong Amata was the second runner up of the Miss Nigeria Pageant in 2004.

In 2015, Mbong Amata bought a home in California and also floated a record label Bong House. The imprint is home to female rapper Splash.
