American rapper, Azealia Banks has allegedly slammed the music video of Rihanna's 'Work' featuring rapper, Drake.

This was picked up from her Twitter post which sought to ridicule the efforts made on the video, which is featured on Rihanna's newly released 'Anti' album.

The video had X-rated scenes, picturing Rihanna dancing seductively in a mechanised manner with Drake.

The song is the second collaborated of the pair which has topped the number one spot on the Billboard 100, which the rapper is thankful for as he is quoted as saying, “Two number ones and they are both cause of you ... Thank you!!”

She commented with the following posts, "Me watching the mediocrity that is the music industry 2016," she later tweeted, alongside a photo of a clearly unamused woman smoking a cigarette.

"Music is honestly so f—king trash and boring,"

"Let's start a f—king beef and make s—t interesting. All these f—king pill popping divas doing the LEAST and the s—t is boring. Get these hoes a coffee and a pair of boxing gloves."

Banks came to prominence by topping NME's Cool List in 2011 and finishing third in the BBC's Sound of 2012.
